Hi my name is Alice Godin. I am the Resource Sharing Coordinator at Northern Vermont University’s Willey Library located at the Johnson campus. My main job is to help you get articles and books that are not available in your home library collection, as well as mailing items to distance students and other libraries. I take care of the magazines, newspapers, and microform collections while also working closely with the circulation manager. I might even renew your book for you! Among my many jobs here at the library, I also water and care for the library’s plants!
I am a 2005 graduate of NVU at Johnson formerly Johnson State College. I began my studies at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) in Morrisville, and then transferred to Johnson as a non-residential student. I finished my B.A. in Liberal Arts through the External Degree Program at a time when online classes were held over dial up! I started working at the Willey Library as a student worker in 2001 and joined the full-time staff in 2004. In 2020, I finished my VT Public Librarian certification.
I am married with a blended family including five grown children and two grandchildren. I enjoy spending time in the woods studying nature and wildflowers, gardening, and ‘reading’ audiobooks. Traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and crafting are some of my other favorite past times. Another passion of mine is the all-volunteer run Waterville Town Library, where I have been a trustee and volunteer librarian since 2010.
My name is Monique. I order items added to the collections at the Lyndon and Johnson libraries. I attended Lyndon in 1977 and worked as a work-study student. After I graduated, I worked as a circulation desk person typing notices using carbon copy paper. I also work in Periodicals and at the Reference Desk. I have 3 grown daughters, 4 grandchildren, 2 dogs and a cat that keep me busy. If you can’t find a book, I can usually locate it, if it is shelved in the wrong place.
