Best Practices for Creating Research Guides at NVU Libraries

This guide offers tips and a template for creating libguides for NVU Libraries, with the specific intent to make all libguides accessible to every student.

Why use this guide?

When it comes to subject guides, consistency, both in look and feel and in content, gives students the best means of accessing our library materials. Side navigation, the use of certain fonts and color, bullet points, adding alternative text to images--all these choices serve to get our message across to the widest range of students. Before you create a new guide, review this guide for pointers and direction.
